Watching the sunset against a panoramic blend of rolling hills and blue sky. Falling in love with an idyllic fishing village – and imagining living there. Discovering hidden coves and secret beaches. And waking to the sounds and smells of freshly cooked bacon. This is what holidays in Cornwall at Mena Farm are all about…
Cornwall is a magical holiday destination. A place where thoughts of the daily drudge quickly become a distant memory, replaced, instead, by having to make tough choices like… where to spend those lazy summer afternoons? Whether you prefer to while away your days on the beach, walking the spectacular South West Coast Path or just want to see if you can track down the legendary Beast of Bodmin Moor, Mena Farm is the perfect base from which to see, and do, as much or as little as you wish.
We’re not a loud or brash site. There’s no noisy clubhouse here and we’re not close to any party resorts. In fact, we think our location is pretty unique. Located at the end of a quiet country lane, we’re surrounded by Cornish countryside views and overlooked by the Neolithic hill fort of Helman Tor.
When it comes to accommodation, you’ve got quite a choice to make. Pack up the tent or hook up your caravan and enjoy touring and camping at our Cornwall campsite. Or try something a little different and come glamping in our Bell Tents. We also offer a range of self-catering options, including our static caravans, our garden chalet or the spacious Farmhouse.
Walk through the tall grass as the wind whistles among the blades, fish for tiddlers among the water lilies or watch the sunset against the back drop of the rolling countrysideView
With breathtaking natural beauty, a spectacular coastline and world-renowned visitor attractions, it’s little wonder Cornwall is the UK’s favourite holiday destination.View
We’re extremely proud of the holiday experiences we offer here at Mena Farm. Our guests love our quiet location in the heart of Cornwall and come back year after year…
This is a lovely site run by Ali and Neil, who are very friendly and often to be seen around the site working with their dog Ollie. It is a dog-friendly site with a huge field to fling balls where the dogs can have a good run. The showers were always hot, and there are good washing up and clothes washing facilities, and good recycling. There are great views over Bodmin Moor, and the site is close to Lanivet (large village) and Bodmin, and only a few miles from the Eden Project.
This place has the lot and the couple who run it are were so hospitable. There’s plenty to do onsite for kids and adults alike (fishing, pool, ping pong, tv cabin with sofas, football field to name but a few), it has a shop that’s fully stocked with all the essentials and the washing facilities are great too. We will book again for sure, thanks once again guys!
We just spent a very lovely long bank holiday weekend at this site (the great weather helped!) It’s a small, friendly site with camping pitches around the perimeter of an open field with play facilities in the centre so perfect for keeping an eye on little ones! Collecting eggs from the chickens, scratching the backs of the two pigs Delboy&Rodney and stroking the campsite dog Ollie were a bonus, and walking down over the field to the oasis of the fishing pond with all it’s beautiful water lilies is a must! The great location in central Cornwall just off the A30 is handy to get to either coast or anywhere else your heart desires too…! We will be back thank you Ali&Neil!
